Thomas Bálint Spring/Summer 2015

Bold stripes and pops of vibrant blood orange were signature trademarks of the Thomas Bálint Spring/Summer 2015 collection that was recently presented at World MasterCard Fashion Week.

The relatively unisex line focused on slouchy, androgynous pieces with a modern aesthetic and look that is tailored intentionally to be unstructured. Always one of THE BRUNETTES’ favourite collections at WMCFW, Michael Thomas Bálint never fails to present an evolved point of view with his take on contemporary menswear.

THE BRUNETTES Attend the David Dixon World MasterCard Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2014 Afterparty

Courtesy drinks and gourmet appetizers with an Asian-fusion flair complemented the stylish venue of the David Dixon World MasterCard Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2014 afterparty held last night at the chic SoHo Metropolitan Hotel.

After a glamorous runway presentation of wedding gowns from designer David Dixon, select Toronto Fashion Week attendees, leading industry players, models, celebrities, and members of the media—including THE BRUNETTES—were invited to enjoy the surroundings of the luxurious SoHo Met Luckee restaurant, created by world-renowned, top chef Susur Lee, and chat about their favourite pieces from the romantic show.

#WMCFW Spring/Summer 2014 Style Selects: Special Fashion Flashback Edition

With World MasterCard Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2014 just around the corner, we thought it the perfect time to take a look back and reflect on some of our favourite style selects from the Spring/Summer 2014 tent.

Celebrities, members of the media, and fashion enthusiasts show off their week’s best in this grouping of looks that embraces Givenchy-inspired streetwear, the mixing of varied animal prints and leathers, normcore couture, and clean, sophisticated styles with statement cuts and soft textures.
