The internet is a buzz today with news that major modeling agency Ford Models is closing it Toronto division at the end of the month. An official statement behind this decision from the world-renowned agency has yet to be given, but some in the industry are already speculating that Toronto’s fashion scene is just too small for a business that is such a significant player in larger markets.
Ford Models has other branches in Brazil,
Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami and Manhattan, and has been responsible for
launching the careers of international talents like Twiggy, Christie
Brinkley and Linda Evangelista.
