Alexander Wang x H&M: Sneak Peek

If you’re like THE BRUNETTES and are anxiously awaiting for the November 6th launch of the sportswear-focused Alexander Wang x H&M collection, which will likely sellout in its entirety on that very same day, then you’ll definitely appreciate these preview pics from the menswear range.

Logo-embossed sweaters and running meggings will give fashionisto gym rats some edge when hitting the treadmill, but it’s the gym gear in the campaign imagery, like the boxing gloves and soccer ball, that THE BRUNETTES are most hoping to see included in the line. So start drafting that must-have list now, because the Alexander Wang x H&M collection is just weeks away.

Street-Style Sportswear: Activewear Gets a New Look from Topman Sport

Combining technical fabrics, functionality, and breathable materials with sleek fits and a heavy dose of street style, Topman takes on fast-fashion competitors, like H&M and Joe Fresh, with its foray into activewear under the new Topman Sport label.

The 20-piece capsule collection debuts with running tights, marl gym tees, and performance pieces with mesh venting and dry-tech technology. Reflective elements and thumbholes give the line a futuristic look and add even more function to the label, while daring prints and colour hues give this collection a signature Topman look.

Luxe Olympic-Inspired Activewear: The ‘Go Gold’ Collection from H&M Honours Sochi 2014

Inspired by its very own special collection of Olympic Winter Games uniforms, designed by H&M with the partnership of the Swedish Winter Olympic team, H&M recently unveiled its ‘Go Gold’ activewear line, which is currently available in participating stores while quantities last.

The uber-stylish capsule collection features monochromatic and colour-soaked pieces, for both women and men, that are engineered with winter-sport activities in mind, but that also balance function with fashion.

Slim silhouettes, bold patterns, directional lines, and crisp cuts, along with fast-drying fabrics, reversible designs, breathable materials, and lightweight down-fills, let sporty fashionistas—and fashionistos—join in on the excitement of the 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, while staying fit and taking home their own gold medal for best dressed.
