Homegrown, Canadian talent Mikhael Kale kicked off the first day of World MasterCard Fashion Week with a stunning studio presentation that embodied a
bold vision of new-age femininity. Mixing hard and soft elements, the designer showcased
a line of ruched, cocktail dresses that were paired with oversized blazers, studded
leather jackets, and show-stopping, riveted pieces that ranged from suede coats to an androgynous leather ensemble.
Known for his innovative construction techniques, Kale followed up on his impressive Spring 2014 showing with a vibrant collection
that mixed artful accents with sophisticated silhouettes. This unique yet
wearable collection is a breath of fresh air for next fall thanks to its vivid
color scheme that is reminiscent of hues worn in the warmer spring and summer
months.
