The H&M with Maison Martin
Margiela collection branding is expected to be made public on the retailer’s
website come tomorrow, November 8th. But chances are if you're waiting in anticipation for the collection’s arrival in stores
next Thursday, then you’ve already seen much of the leaked campaign imagery
online. Well, now’s your chance to see that same imagery in motion with the
release of the television commercial for the label.
The advertisement features
models wearing pieces from the collection while performing abstract dance moves
on the streets of Paris. The performances echo a similar choreographed dance
routine that was presented by H&M a couple of weeks ago for the 105-piece
collection at a launch event in New York. What’s the meaning behind all the
dancing in this fashion film? We’re not sure, but it seems as if H&M has
left it open for viewers’ interpretation.
