Recently presented at World MasterCard Toronto Fashion Week, The Mackage Spring/Summer 2013 runway show was a success from opening to close. The cohesive collection was made up of leather and nylon pieces, which included outerwear, shorts and other clothing that was both edgy and wearable.
Motorcycle jackets, leggings, crop
tops, and neon yellow details provided for a contemporary take on ‘80s fashion,
while earthy hues and garments dyed with an ombré effect added some softness to
this sophisticated showing. Walking for the line was Canadian model Irina
Lazareanu, who has strutted on the catwalk for luxury brands like Versace and
Chanel.
Special guests attending the
show—THE BRUNETTES among them—received a gift bag with a black and neon
yellow, buckled, leather bracelet inside. The collection was presented before
the set of a brick wall, which THE BRUNETTES just had to pose and snap a photo
in front of when the show came to an end.
