In the running for THE BRUNETTES’ favorite runway presentation of World MasterCard Toronto Fashion Week was the new Joe Fresh Spring/Summer 2013 collection, which opened with a signature walk from the legendary and iconic model, Pat Cleveland. Taking his inspiration once again from 60s design, and inspired by the Alfred Hitchcock classic ‘The Birds’ and seemingly ‘The Twilight Zone’ as well, Joe Mimran’s latest showing offered a contemporary take on the past.
The collection
featured dazzling metallics in strange, space-age materials, bold patterns, and
refreshing pops of color paired with crisp whites. The show was one of the most
attended of the week and drew in celebrity guests as well. Always a favorite of
World MasterCard Toronto Fashion Week, the Joe Fresh Spring/Summer 2013
collection attracted many fans of the label that watched from the crowd wearing
their favorite pieces from past Joe Fresh collections. John of THE BRUNETTES
donned this neon orange blazer from the Joe Fresh Spring/Summer 2012 line,
which had such high gamma levels that it was barely readable by photographers' cameras.
