Entitled "Distopia", the mesmerizing Adrian Wu Spring 2013 collection featured an array of avant-garde pieces made from an unconventional polyurethane material. The designer's memorable runway presentation took its inspiration from the nuclear war threat of the 1950s. From its sculptural sensibility to its classically elegant and retro styling, this artful collection shocked and surprised its audience.
Walking under an oversized disco ball and down a crimson runway, models sported the designer's unique creations while pianist Patrick Dilkie and singer Caitlin Comeau-Jarvis performed classic hits that included Henry Mancini's "Moon River" and "I'm a Fool to Want You" by Billie Holiday.
