Little Mermaid Menswear: The Bobby Abley Spring/Summer 2015 Collection Shows its Love for Ariel

Incorporating facial features from the most beloved characters of Disney’s ‘The Little Mermaid’ on boxy, structured sweatshirts, the Bobby Abley Spring/Summer 2015 collection re-appropriates Princess Ariel, her friends, and her foes into a rad line of streetwear that echoes styles from the era the film was produced.

Iridescent fabrics and tinsel-like fringe play on the fairytale, sea theme as well, while distressed pieces add masculinity to what is an otherwise playful menswear collection.

Printed Pullover Blazers: The Agi & Sam Fall/Winter 2013 Collection is for the Young at Heart

 

Shown at London Collections: Men as part of the MAN initiative, a collaborative effort from Topman and Fashion East that helps introduce and support emerging designers to the London fashion scene, the Agi & Sam Fall/Winter 2013 collection fused traditional fabrics and classic styles with bold prints, colors, and contemporary cuts. Button-free, pullover blazers were standout pieces in the show, while senior-aged models gave the presentation a point of difference.
