Fashionably Functional Sportswear: Your First Look at the Entire H&M for Brick Lane Bikes Collection is Here

It was way back in mid-December when THE BRUNETTES first brought you information about H&M’s upcoming collaboration with Brick Lane Bikes; the new 11-piece capsule collection, made from sustainable fabrics, combines fashion with function.

The H&M for Brick Lane Bikes collection was designed to offer cyclists clothing that not only makes biking easier and more comfortable, but that is also fashionable enough to wear throughout the rest of a rider’s day.

Special features like straps on trousers that can hold a bike lock, key rings, shoulder straps on jackets that allow cyclists to take them off while riding without loosing their coat, and breathable materials that are engineered for freedom of movement are just some of the incredible reasons why riders everywhere will be lining up to get a piece of this affordable collection.

So with just a little less than month until the line hits stores, here’s a sneak peek of the entire H&M for Brick Lane Bikes collection and campaign imagery before it debuts in select stores on March 7th.

Victorious Vélo-Style Collaborations: H&M for Brick Lane Bikes

H&M is set to launch a new, innovative capsule collection on March 7th, 2013 that will combine a hip streetwear esthetic with active apparel in collaboration with a relatively young London-based company, Brick Lane Bikes.

Brick Lane Bikes specializes in manufacturing custom-built cycles for its customers and, like H&M, brings the latest styles, in-colors, and trends to its products. The collection is being created by H&M and tested by Brick Lane Bikes to make sure that the clothing not only looks good on and off the vélo, but that it also performs the extra function of making cycling easier on the rider. The 11-piece collection will be designed with sustainable fabrics, making it just as friendly for the environment as going for a romantic ride on a bicycle built for two.
