Using iconic blonde characters from Hitchcock films—ones known for having a little bit of a dark side—as her muses, Kimberley Newport-Mimran gave quite a show with her ‘60s-inspired mod collection of sophisticated pieces.
And, although many critics had much
to say online about the blonde wigs used in the World MasterCard Fashion Week show, Pink Tartan delivered a
cohesive and colorful collection of fur pieces, capes, and a-line silhouettes
that celebrate the past, present, and future of femininity. Notable guests at
the show included Steven Sabados and Chris Hyndman, Amanda Brugel, and
Kimberley’s husband, designer Joe Mimran.
