Always one of our favorites at
World MasterCard Toronto Fashion Week, KORHANI home uses its fashion-inspired
tapestries to create beautiful runway collections for both women and men, and
then takes those very same couture pieces to print to help showcase upcoming
home fashions for the brand.
THE BRUNETTES were lucky enough to
see KORHANI home’s Spring 2013 collection last year in Toronto and meet the
designer behind all the glamour, Kirsten Korhani. So when we heard KORHANI home was having a contest to celebrate the line’s first showing at Berlin Fashion Week, we just had to participate.
What was on offer? Only this
beautiful, 1920s-inspired tote bag from KORHANI’s ‘Puttin’ on the Ritz’
collection! You can imagine our excitement when we found out we were among the
lucky winners.
KORHANI home’s modern take on art
deco design is available for purchase in home fashions on the company’s website
and the prices are very reasonable to boot. With ‘The Great Gatsby’ hitting
theatres later this year, KORHANI’s selection of indoor and outdoor rugs are
sure to be right on trend. As for THE BRUNETTES, we’re just happy to own a
piece of the collection that we can show off come next Toronto Fashion Week.
