Color-Soaked Streetwear Parties: The BRUNETTES Attend the BAZZUL for LAB & iD Launch Party

THE BRUNETTES recently headed over to the Brockton Collective for the edgiest, fashion launch that the duo has ever attended. The BAZZUL for LAB & iD Launch Party was thrown in part as a celebration of the two brands’ collaborative teamwork, but also as a showcase of the boutiques’ hip, new, Spring/Summer 2013 collections.

Special guests at the party included a slew of popular DJs, LAB & iD creator Junior Sealy, and London-based, designer/DJ Roberto Piqueras. Between musical sets, THE BRUNETTES mingled with other fashion enthusiasts and scenesters in the crowded, gallery space and congratulated Junior on the impressive party, LAB & iD’s success, and on a stunning showing of Roberto Piqueras designs, which can be purchased online from LAB & iD and were worn to the party by Junior himself.

Later, THE BRUNETTES chatted up Roberto Piqueras about their mutual love for design, travel, music and interdisciplinary arts. We also spoke with the designer about his genius, flash-mob technique for presenting his collections to the masses in unexpected venues like London's British Museum.

After a revealing conversation about Piqueras’s desire to artfully bring awareness to his brand while still respecting the venues of his impromptu fashion shows, THE BRUNETTES danced the rest of the evening away to some DJ-spun beats from the designer as well.
